I scrapped!!

Well, I wouldn't say the drought is over, after all, I have only done 2 other layouts this year! BUT at least I have scrapped!.

This layout just put itself together, I didn't have a clue what I was going to do, so I didn't think about it, I just let it take shape on it's own.

I had put the word DAY under Special, but it just didn't look right, so I sat there and stared and thought oh heck, I'll just pack up! I picked up the pack of paperclips to put away, one fell out onto the floor and it was the heart..OK so that's the title Special love (heart) PERFECT!!

I hand cut all the butterflies from a piece of patterned paper, that ordinarily I wouldn't have glanced twice at, yet, it was the first piece of paper I picked up at the LSS today.  Inside the blossoms are velvet brads (very nice to touch they are!). There's also bling along the r/h side but not sure if you can see it.

I'm not sure if I'm 100% happy with it, BUT I'm pretty sure, I had a bit of help with this IYKWIM so there is no way I'm changing any of it!

I do however LOVE how the Large scallop paper over the smaller scallop cardstock, makes little odd shaped hearts I thought that was very clever of me LOL.

It's not the best layout I've done, but it needed to be done for therapy and it's the first page for my Heather album.

I didn't scrap for a long time after we lost Michael's dad... the very first page I eventually did was of him and it really truly did help the healing process I think. It felt good.

Hugs to you darl, this LO is gorgeous and the piccy so precious!

So Beautiful Tess, that's what scrapping is all about, somewhere to record our special memories and helps a little with healing the heart along the way!
